Motivation Statement

“I’ve been part of TFM since the very beginning, and what I’ve learned over the years is that changing education is not a sprint. It’s slow, patient work — one child, one classroom, one cohort at a time — and the results often take years to show. A half marathon feels like the right way to mark it: not the race that gets the headlines, but one you only finish by pacing yourself and refusing to give up. That’s the kind of commitment ending education inequity deserves, and it’s why I’m proud to keep running for it.”
