Motivation Statement

I’m lacing up to run in KLSCM this year, not just for the thrill of the run, but to back the amazing work of the Standard Chartered Foundation. I want every youth to have the chance to dream big and shape their future – just like I hope for my own. The Foundation focuses on creating real, lasting impact in communities by supporting young people, especially young women and those with disabilities. The current Goal Accelerator Programme has changed the life of almost 200 young women; helping them develop critical employability skills to access jobs and build long-term economic opportunities. The Foundation’s all about opening doors through education, skills and opportunities. Running in KLSCM 2026 is my way of supporting that mission and showing a bit of determination (and, hopefully, not too many blisters!).
