Motivation Statement

Running puts things into perspective. It has taught us that the gap between where you are and where you want to be is closed one step at a time, reminding us that every finish line starts with a decision to show up and take the first step. That's exactly why Standard Chartered Foundation's work resonates with me. Bridging the gap for disadvantaged young Malaysians, breaking down barriers and opening real doors to employment and a better future, takes that same relentless belief that progress is possible. Every kilometre I run at KLSCM 2026 is my way of getting behind that mission, and that gives this race a lot more meaning than just a finishing time. We all have a gap to close, and every step counts.
