Motivation Statement

I believe every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background. Education has been a game‑changer in my own life — it shaped my opportunities, my thinking, and the path I’m on today. Over time, I’ve seen how committed teachers and mentors can change a student’s trajectory, especially in underserved communities. By running the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon 2026, I’m challenging myself physically while supporting Teach For Malaysia’s mission to close the education gap. Every kilometre I run represents perseverance, purpose, and the belief that small actions — taken together — can create meaningful impact.
