Motivation Statement

As a father to a young child, I see daily how education opens worlds. Yet, for many Malaysian children, their background still dictates their future. I firmly believe education is the most effective way to break the cycle of poverty, and that is why I’m running for Teach For Malaysia. TFM works tirelessly to ensure that a child's postcode doesn't determine their destiny. Running a marathon requires endurance, but the fight for educational equity is the most important 'long run' of all.
