Motivation Statement

My name is Hadri Hashim, and I’m returning to the Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2026 with a deeper purpose. Last year, I ran believing in opportunity. This year, I run with responsibility. In support of Teach For Malaysia, I’m reminded that education is not just about access, it is about equity. It is about ensuring that potential is not determined by postcode, privilege or circumstance. Running 21KM is physical. Changing lives through education is generational. This race is my commitment to investing in futures I may never see, but fully believe in.
