Motivation Statement

This year marks my 4th time running the KL Standard Chartered Marathon, but it is my first time running under Run For A Reason, making my run especially meaningful this year. My connection to this cause began during my university years, when we collaborated with TFM to organise the 10th edition of Inspire SEA Camp. During the camp, my eyes were opened to a painful reality, what many of us consider basic needs were not even accessible to underprivileged students. Held during the COVID period, these students were further left behind, not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked opportunity. Yet, I also witnessed hope. With care, support, and belief, their confidence slowly grew. That experience stayed with me. This run is my way of turning that realisation into action. Every donation helps bring hope, opportunity, and quality education closer to students who need it most 🤍
