Motivation Statement

I am taking on the 10km challenge at the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon in support of Teach For Malaysia because I believe deeply in the power of education to transform lives. Throughout the years, I’ve always tried to give back in any way I can, especially through volunteering in education-related causes. TFM’s mission to close the education gap strongly resonates with me, and I’m proud to contribute by fundraising in the lead‑up to this run. This race also marks a personal journey - returning to a sport I’ve long loved but paused due to a demanding work schedule. By committing to this run, I’m challenging myself to rebuild consistency, discipline, and purpose while supporting a cause I truly care about. I hope this effort not only strengthens my own running journey but also helps empower students across Malaysia with the opportunities they deserve.
