Motivation Statement

This year, I’m taking on the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) 2026 with a purpose that goes beyond the finish line. I’m running under the Run For A Reason programme to support Hospis Malaysia, an organisation that provides compassionate palliative care to patients and families facing life‑limiting illnesses. Palliative care isn’t just medical support — it’s dignity, comfort, and emotional strength for those who need it most. The work Hospis Malaysia does changes lives quietly, powerfully, and meaningfully. As I train for this race, every kilometre I run reminds me that many patients and families are fighting battles far tougher than any marathon. And with your help, we can make sure they don’t go through it alone. If you’re able, I’d be truly grateful for your support. No amount is too small — every contribution helps Hospis Malaysia continue delivering essential care to those who need it most.
