Motivation Statement

My name is Hadri Hashim, and I’m running the Standard Chartered Half Marathon in support of Teach For Malaysia because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream and rise, regardless of their background. As someone who’s been shaped by mentors, second chances and the power of creativity and community, I want to dedicate this run to the belief that education can transform lives. Through my work in coffee, fashion, and media, I’ve seen how knowledge, access and support can open doors that once felt out of reach. This run is more than just distance, it’s about impact, legacy, and giving back to the next generation of leaders who just need someone to believe in them.
